The September Vegan Box came jam-packed with goodies - sweet treats, savoury goodies, magazine subscriptions, beauty items and cleaning products - so many treats it would be a long post to review them all in one hit so welcome to the first of the review posts for the awesome items this little treasure chest contained!
Since I have such an obsession with order and putting things in 'boxes' I've grouped the items starting with the 'fruity' treats!

Raw Raspberry Macaroons
$7.90 a box (100g)
'The Raspberry Macaroons is a favorite of all ages – but especially popular with kids. It has a profound raspberry taste and aroma that is provided by the fresh organic raspberries that are added to the cashew-coconut base.'
As soon as I spied these beautiful little gems in the box I knew it wouldn't be long before I was tearing into them! When the afternoon munchies hit I was more than happy to sample them and they were as delicious as they sounded on the website. I was happy that the raspberry flavour was strong and natural - I find with a lot of fruit flavoured items, especially those using 'real' ingredients, can be a little too subtle for my tastes but the raspberry came through loud and proud! The texture was amazing - smooth and creamy but by no means squishy - they held together spectacularly! What I was especially impressed with was the amount of satiety I got from just one surely a result of the healthy fats and protein from the nut base. Although I could have easily eaten both of them my afternoon munchies were happily quashed with just one - lucky for Danny who was happy to snaffle the second one! The price is a little more than I am willing to pay out on a regular basis but these will be a perfect option for impressing guests.

Disclaimer : Dried fruit is one of my ultimate weaknesses! It's rare for me to meet any form of shriveled up sweetness that I don't like. That said, I know a good sultana when I taste one! These Gobble sultanas were that perfect texture not too dry like many can be but also not so moist and squishy that your left wondering if they weren't dehydrated long enough. The packaging was super cute as well - perfect for kiddies and adult that refuse to grow up like me!

I got the precious little box all to myself because Danny doesn't enjoy dried fruit quite like me. I split them between a couple of little handfuls straight from the box, a few sprinkled on a rice cake with tahini as a pre-gym snack and mixed through a bowl of cinnamon oats for breakfast - I really made my 40g go the distance! I love the size of the snack boxes - I find it easier to ration myself when they are pre-portioned for me!
I haven't seen Gobble brand in any of my local stores so I will probably stick with my usual brands rather than ordering them online. If they show up nearby however I am sure I could easily switch allegiances because these are pretty delicious and fairly priced!
